Prop | "Multi-Tool" Geiger Counter

I was itching to explore and create a very grungy hero prop with narrative elements into it, and so I decided to replicate a Sears “Tower” Model 6157 to real world scale. It was wild to learn what materials were used for each part of the Geiger Counter, and especially how such a material would age in the elements. By far the most unexpected component was the handle being made of Bakelite (a type of resin) instead of steel as I initially assumed. This ended up being an extremely exciting prop to build and texture!
